Treasury Talk Podcast

Sarah Rusnell has been with the Michigan Department of Treasury since 2013. She has a Bachelor of Communication Arts and Sciences degree from Michigan State University. She is the manager of Treasury Outreach within the Office of Communications, concentrating on providing stakeholders with education-focused resources. In her time with Treasury, Sarah has worked extensively with many Michigan tax types- affording her the ability to bring Treasury’s functional areas together and bridge gaps through strategic, proactive communications and effective deliverables.  

Outside of work, Sarah is an avid equestrian and hobby horologist (specifically, repairing grandfather clocks). Sarah is a passionate disability advocate with a healthcare background that would surprise most people who meet her. Learn more about Sarah’s life and work on Medium.
